WeightCareMD is a medically supervised weight management clinic started by 

Dr. Tanbir Sindhar who is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She practices as a general internist focusing on treatment of medical conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia and Cardiovascular disease. She works at Ridge Meadows Hospital, as part of the internist group providing critical care in the I.C.U. for the past many years. She expanded her office practice to include treatment of overweight and obesity, after she became certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her goal is to provide comprehensive and evidence based care to patients who struggle with their weight. Lifestyle interventions in the areas of nutrition, physical activity and behavioural changes are an integral part of weight management.

Medical therapy will be initiated if deemed appropriate. Referrals for bariatric surgery will be made if clinically indicated for the right patient.
